  • Assistant District Attorney; Orange County District Attorney, Orange TX 2005-2009
  • Misdemeanor and juvenile prosecutor in Orange County Courts at Law Nos. 1 and 2. Responsible for criminal misdemeanor and juvenile felony cases from their initial filing by law enforcement agencies, including the vetting of the work performed by law enforcement. Review probable cause affidavits and warrants prepared by law enforcement agencies.
  • Achieved Chief of the Misdemeanor Division, supervising the other misdemeanor and juvenile prosecutors.
  • Achieved felony prosecutor and responsible for all cases assigned to the 128th Judicial District Court of Orange County.
  • As felony prosecutor, prepared pretrial motions, attended hearings, prepared constitutionally required discovery to the defendant, defended against the suppression of evidence, participated in the jury selection process, presented evidence and witnesses, and responsible for appellate matters. In the post-conviction posture, was responsible for presenting the necessary motions to revoke probation and motions to impose guilt.
