- VNSG 2463 - Clinical IV Practical Nurse
Credits 4 Lecture Hours 0 Lab Hours 24 A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, concepts, and skills on clients, such as, but not limited to, medical surgical, obstetrics/gyn, post-partum, pediatrics, etc. Community sites as well as hospital facilities will be utilized. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Clinical experiences are unpaid external experiences. Prerequisite: Admission to the Vocational Nursing Program, BIOL 2401, BIOL 2402, VNSG 1160, VNSG 1138, VNSG 1323 or VNSG 1423 , VNSG 1227, VNSG 1231, VNSG 1402, VNSG 1461, VNSG 1122, VNSG 1136, VNSG 1462, and VNSG 2413.
