Exams. Exams will be based on course objectives and material. Course content from prerequisite courses may be included on exams, as appropriate. Exams may be multiple choice, multiple answer, essay, true/false or other alternate item formats. There will be six (6) unit exams, one (1) Management HESI Exam, and a comprehensive final exam.
Management HESI.
The Management will count as 10% of the student’s grade. Students will have two attempts to achieve 850 or higher. All students must take the second attempt. The student must submit instructor directed remediation for the first attempt, on the date designated by the instructors, before they will be allowed to take the second attempt. Students who are absent for the first attempt will receive the grade they receive on the second attempt will be the grade entered into the gradebook plus a 10-point deduction. There is no make up for the first or second HESI assessment attempt. If the student misses both attempts, they will receive a “0” for 10% of their grade for the Management HESI. If the student is more than 20 minutes late to either attempt, they will not be allowed to take the assessment and will receive a 10 point deduction on the grade I the gradebook.
Instructor directed remediation will be required after the Management HESI assessment, regardless of the student’s score. Management HESI remediation must be turned in by the date designated by the instructors in order for the student to take the 2nd Management HESI attempt and/or final exam. There are no makeups for HESI assessments and final exams. Please upload individual report, templates, quizzes assigned in remediation and quizzes found at the end of the chapter in your HESI Management book to blackboard in the appropriate drop box. No late or incomplete assignments will be accepted.
Assignments. There will be assignments throughout the semester. Assignments could consist of quizzes, workbook assignments, worksheets, a discussion board, HESI assignments, F.A. Davis assignments, etc. Assignments will be submitted via the drop box in your blackboard course. Assignments will count as 5% of your course grade. Assignments will be due according to the day and time posted on Blackboard. Assignments not submitted by the due date or incomplete will receive a zero. No late assignments will be accepted.
