Description
DMTH 0332 Contemporary Mathematics Corequisite – 32.0104.51.19; 3-3-0; Lecture Contemporary Mathematics & Elementary Statistical Methods Corequisite. This course is designed to prepare students for college-level mathematics with just-in-time remediation. Emphasis on skills needed to support MATH 1332 & MATH 1342. Topics may include problem solving, fractions, decimals, real numbers, variables, algebraic expressions and formulas, scientific notation, factorials, order of operations, absolute values, sets and operations on sets, linear equations and inequalities, ratios and proportions, measurement conversion, Cartesian coordinates and graphs of linear equations in two variables. Corequisite: MATH 1332 or MATH 1342.
